The date was 4th July 2015, and we were off to the beautiful Cheshire wedding venue of Arley Hall in Northwich. We set off from Macclesfield and arrived at the venue mid-morning, making our way to the room where Emma, the bride, her mum, and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Hair, make up, champagne and excitement filled the air! The preparation photographs commenced – the dress, the shoes, the finer details that would easily be forgotten without photographs of the moment.
The groom, Nigel, along with his ushers, made a grand entrance, arriving in a Bentley driven by the best man. This made for a great photograph of them in the car, with the clock tower in the background. Once the boys had had their photographs taken, it was back up to the bride for some final photos of her and the bridesmaids, before leaving for the ceremony. By now, the sun was blazing and the walk to the garden where they were getting married made for some beautiful shots against the backdrop of the flowers and picturesque gardens. The guests were seated, and the music began playing. Emma glided down the aisle with her dad at her side, and the ceremony began. Formalities completed, the group photos began. This is where the real work starts for us! All went smoothly, and we ushered the bride and groom away to have their own photos, stopping at numerous pretty locations to obtain some beautiful photographs.
Soon afterwards, it was time for the guests to be seated, and the speeches began. Our photographs, as always, captured some lovely emotions between the bride and her father, and the bride and now husband. Dining began, and the band and caterers began setting up in another room for the evening. The first dance shots were taken, and the guests made their way onto the dance floor to join in the celebrations. This was time for us to leave, the photos had been taken, the couple were happy, and our drive back home commenced.
A few weeks later we presented the completed wedding album to Emma and Nigel, who were delighted!
